This event will feature the presentation “Demystifying Devices: A Learning Session on CGMs and Insulin Pumps,” led by Molly Prajka, APRN, FNP-C, CDCES. Designed specifically for hospitalists, this session will provide practical insights into continuous glucose monitoring and insulin pump technologies, with a focus on real-world inpatient applications.

Speaker: Molly Prajka, APRN, FNP-C, CDCES
Molly Prajka is a nurse practitioner in the Department of Endocrinology at Loyola University Medical Center. She brings extensive Diabetes experience from her previous role as a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist at Lurie Children’s Hospital. Molly’s clinical interests include the management of Type 1 diabetes, insulin pump therapy, continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), and the role of exercise in diabetes care. Having lived with Type 1 diabetes since 1999, she is deeply committed to delivering the same high standard of care she expects for herself, ensuring each patient receives
compassionate and personalized care.
