The SHM South Carolina Chapters (Pee Dee-midlands, SC Lowcountry, Upstate SC) are pleased to collaborate for a one day conference on Thursday, February 20th, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. ET at the Marriott Columbia in Columbia, SC. Please join the chapters to meet and network with other clinicians in your community and for a variety of educational lectures provided by a diversified group of speakers. Following this activity, learners will have a greater understanding of point-of-care ultrasound and its use for aiding in the physical exam, learners will be able to identify patients with opioid use disorder and be able to determine when and how to initiate them on Buprenorphine, learners will have greater knowledge on the future of hospital medicine, and lastly, learners will have a greater knowledge on career and retirement planning. Following the day of lectures the SHM SC chapters will be hosting a networking event for conference attendees at the University of South Carolina Gamecocks women’s basketball game against the University of Arkansas Razorbacks at 7:00 p.m. at the Colonial Life Arena located at 801 Lincoln St, Columbia, SC 29201.
