The SHM Delaware Chapter will be holding an in-person event on Saturday, November 9th at 7:30 a.m. ET at the ChristianaCare Ammon Center (Rooms 1-3,4-6) in Newark, DE. Please join the chapter to meet and network with other clinicians in your community and for the chapter's Scientific Abstract Competition. This event will also feature three educational presentations. If you are unable to join us in person, please join virtually by emailing chapters@hospitalmedicine.org for the Zoom meeting information after you register for the event.
This event is free for SHM dues-paying members and $50 for non-members. Members, please log into your SHM account to receive your free registration rate. This event is also free for residents and students. Non-member residents who do not have an account with SHM must reach out to chapters@hospitalmedicine.org to receive a complimentary registration. Students please join SHM for free and then register at the complimentary rate.

Dr. Neeley was born and raised in Nassau, Bahamas. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Elmira College with his Bachelor of Science in Biology. He is a graduate of Ross University School of Medicine. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York and completed his Infectious Disease fellowship at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. After his fellowship, Dr. Neeley practiced for several years in North Carolina, then relocated to Delaware in 2023 which is when he joined ID Consultants. Dr Neeley's interests include opportunistic infections, Non-Tuberculosis Mycobacterium infections and prosthetic joint infections.
Dr. Ghamrawi was born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon. She is a graduate of Lebanese university Faculty of Medical Sciences. She completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Hurley Medical Center/Michigan State University and completed Nephrology and Hypertension fellowship at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Ghamrawi then relocated to Delaware in 2021 to join Nephrology Associates, P. A. Her areas of interest include polycystic kidney disease, Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy and glomerulonephritis.
Dr. Michael Gibbons, MD is career hospitalist and medical educator. After receiving his MD from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, he completed his Internal Medicine residency at Vanderbilt University. Now in his 14thyear of hospitalist practice he has experience spanning multiple hospital systems including multiple roles in graduate medical education. Dr. Gibbons joined ChristianaCare Hospitalist Partners in 2021 and has also served as the Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program since that time.
