Please join the chapter for networking and for 2 educational presentations titled "Systolic Heart Failure: Updates & Best Practice" and "Diastolic Heart Failure: Updates & Best Practice" followed by a panel discussion titled "Burning Questions Answered". Dinner and beverages will be provided.

Dr. Genovese, MD is a Maine Medical Partner, Maine Health Cardiologist based in Brunswick, ME. He served as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at George Washington University, Washington DC, Chief Cardiology Fellow at Inova Fairfax Heart and Vascular Institute, Falls Church, VA, and completed fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA in 2023. He has a special interest in shared decision making and health care navigation for advanced heart failure patients.
Dr. Tapan, MD is a Maine Medical Partner, Maine Health Cardiologist based in Scarborough, ME. He completed fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology in 2020. He is Co-director, Temporary Mechanical Circulatory Support AND Co-director, Complex Dyspnea and Pulmonary Hypertension Program (coming in mid-2024) at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME. He has a special interest in clinical education of trainees to improve the health of our patients and communities.
This event is free for SHM dues paying members and $50 for non-members.
